The Thompson family relocated from the big city to an isolated village in the countryside. 13 year old Tony is excited about its medieval castle and its churchyards. Tony also found himself a very special friend, Rudolph, who happens to be a vampire. This uneven friendship is not without problems. It is difficult for Rudolph’s parents, Frederick and Freda Sackville-Bagge, to accept their son’s friendship with a mortal. On the other hand, the bright and brave boy is a valued ally in the everlasting fight against Rookery, the fearsome vampire hunter. When Tony’s parents accidentally become aware of his vampire liaisons, the situation is resolved by means of vampire hypnosis.
