From 15th to 20th June 2020 the Annecy International Animation Film Festival will be celebrating its 60th anniversary with an exceptional edition!
Animation from the African continent will be in the spotlight and have dedicated programmes. The Mifa will be taking place between 16th to 19th June and a variety of features will also be dedicated to this theme. The Institut français has labelled the Annecy 2020 part of the Africa2020 Season.

For 60 years enthusiasts have been meeting on the lakeside to watch the cream of the crop of animation film! The perfect occasion to look back over 6 decades of creation of remarkable works and to invite animation from the African continent to join the party! As always there’s the international competition, premieres, and parallel sections: Annecy Classics, Midnight Specials, etc
