AMBER NOIZUMI
Amber Noizumi is a television writer and producer who has quickly established herself as a bold, imaginative new voice.
Upcoming, Noizumi co-wrote, co-created and co-showran Netflix’s groundbreaking hour-long adult animated series BLUE EYE SAMURAI alongside Michael Green.
She began her writing career in journalism at Newsday and the Los Angeles Times. BLUE EYE SAMURAI is Noizumi’s introduction to the entertainment industry, confidently presenting her as an exciting voice to watch.
MICHAEL GREEN
Michael Green is an Academy Award- and Emmy-nominated film and television writer and producer.
Upcoming, Green co-created, co-wrote, co-executive produced and co-showran Netflix’s groundbreaking hour-long adult animated series BLUE EYE SAMURAI alongside Amber Noizumi. The series is set to debut in late 2023 and features an all-star voice cast including Maya Erskine, George Takei, and Randall Park.
Most recently, Green penned the screenplay for A HAUNTING IN VENICE, the latest entry in Kenneth Branagh’s Hercule Poirot series, which was released in September 2023 and was Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. He also wrote the previous two entries in the series, DEATH ON THE NILE and MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, both directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh.
Green is best known for his work co-writing the critically acclaimed hit films BLADE RUNNER 2049 and LOGAN, the latter of which netted him an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. His additional film credits include co-writing Disney’s JUNGLE CRUISE and Ridley Scott’s ALIEN: COVENANT and writing and executive producing 20th Century Studios’ THE CALL OF THE WILD, based on Jack London’s classic novel.
In television, Green created NBC’s KINGS and co-created Starz’s AMERICAN GODS (adapted from Neil Gaiman’s seminal novel) and has produced and written for a variety of shows including RAISING DION, SMALLVILLE, EVERWOOD, SEX AND THE CITY and HEROES, the latter of which received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series.
His comic book writing includes best-selling runs on Superman/Batman, Batman: Confidential, Blade Runner 2019 and the New York Times best-seller Supergirl. Green has additionally written essays and opinion pieces for the Los Angeles Times and Thrillist, among others.
