The trailer provides a closer look at the animated comedy adventure which introduces Mabel, an animal lover who seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to ‘hop’ her consciousness into a life-like robotic beaver and communicate directly with animals. Using the technology, Mabel uncovers mysteries within the animal world that are beyond anything she could have imagined.
Hoppers features the voice of Bobby Moynihan as King George, an undeniably optimistic, kind and larger-than-life beaver who is the leader of the pond and king of the mammals. Jon Hamm voices Mayor Jerry, a politician running for reelection in Beaverton. Under his shiny, perfectly coiffed hair and matching public persona, Jerry is losing his cool over the one thing he can’t control: Mabel.
Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong, produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle, and features an original score by composer Mark Mothersbaugh. The film opens exclusively in theaters on March 6, 2026.

Set during the High Republic era, Young Jedi Adventures follows friends Kai, Lys and Nubs, as they study the ways of the Force, learn from Jedi Master Yoda, explore the galaxy, and help citizens and creatures in need.

Wieder einmal ein Kinderfilm für Erwachsene. Der erste Teil hat es angekündigt, es wurde ein Film mit Kampf- und Actionszenen. Vom Musicaltheatre in das Dojo befördert sozusagen. Kostüm und Bühnenbildwaren selbstverständlich wieder perfekt und es gab immer noch Unerwartetes zu sehen, wo findet man sonst weisse Fledermäuse außer in Cartoons.
Die Stimmung war eher düster und die Charaktere haben ihr Bosheit oder vermeintliche Gutheit überwiegend beibehalten. Jedoch war der ganzeFilm durchzogen von nicht erwiderter Liebe, welches natürlich in Kampfszenen endet oder aber der unnötigsten Liebesszene in einem Kinderfilm (gilt auch für Elphabas Kostüm und Flyeros offenes Hemd).
Unerwartet, sehr amüsant und brutal war das als Nebensächlichkeit inszenierte Erscheinen von Dorothy und ihren Begleitern, sowie das Geheimnis ihrer Herkunft. Leider ist das Design der Vogelscheuche eher einem Horrorfilm zuzuordnen und nicht einem Kinderfilm oder einem stillen Helden. Das Credo des Zauberers von Oz, die Bevölkerung brauche einen Feind, entspricht durchaus (leider) dem Zeitgeist und vielleicht ist es verständlich für Kinder illustriert, dazu müsste man jedoch ein Publikum ab 12 Jahren befragen.
