Titina, die kleine neugierige Straßenhündin trifft bei einem ihrer Streifzüge durch Rom auf den Luft-schiffingenieur Umberto Nobile. Umberto, der ein großes Herz hat, nimmt Titina mit nach Hause. Mit der kleinen Hündin kommt plötzlich auch das Abenteuer in das sonst sehr geruhsame Leben des Luftschiffingenieurs und seiner Familie. Der berühmte norwegische Polarforscher Roald Amundsen meldet sich und beauftragt Nobile mit dem Bau eines Zeppelins, der so groß und so stabil ist, dass sie damit bis zum Nordpol fliegen können. Selbstverständlich begleitet Titina die beiden Forscher auf ihrer Expedition. Kajsa Næss
Kajsa Næss ist eine der führenden norwegischen Regisseurinnen auf dem Gebiet der Animation und hat mit ihren Kurzfilmen viel Anerkennung und renommierte Preise gewonnen, darunter den Grand Prix des norwegischen Kurzfilmfestivals und den Preis der norwegischen Filmkritik. Ihre Arbeiten wurden auf Festivals in der ganzen Welt gezeigt, darunter Clermont-Ferrand, Annecy, Dok Leipzig, das Chicago International Children’s Film Festival und das Tribeca Film Festival. Zu ihren wichtigsten Arbeiten gehören „It Was Mine“ (2015), „It’s Up To You“ (2013), „Deconstruction Workers“ (2008), „Leonid Shower“ (2004) und „Mother Said“ (1999).
Für „The Danish Poet“erhielt sie mit ihrer 1996 gegründeten Produktionsfirma Mikrofilm einen Oscar für den besten animierten Kurzfilm. 2006 war Kajsa Mitbegründerin des norwegischen Animationsfestivals Frame by Frame. Sie ist außerdem Dozentin für Animation an der Westerdals School of Communication. TITINA ist ihr Spielfilmdebüt und wurde bei den diesjährigen Tokyo Anime Awards bereits mit dem „Award of Excellence“ ausgezeichnet.

John Vorhaus is best known for his comedy-writing classic, The Comic Toolbox: How to be Funny Even if You’re Not. He has taught and trained writers in 37 countries on five continents at last count, and created TV shows of his own in Nicaragua, Romania and elsewhere. His writing credits include dozens of teleplays and screenplays, plus seven novels and some two dozen works of non-fiction. His latest book is the little book of STANDUP.
