VFX supervisor Niranjan Siva and VFX producer Loriane Lucas worked with the MPC Paris teams to create around sixty shots, including digitally generated crowds to fill football stadium stands. The MPC Paris post-production teams worked with Xavier Dolleans, the DOP, on the management of rushes, confo, editing and deliverables, all under the supervision of Brice Leclert.

London: BAFTA announces Longlists for the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards
Friday 5 January 2024, 12.00 GMT: The following films will advance to the nominating stage of voting. This is the initial longlisting round.
The films are listed alphabetically by title, with the exception of the performance categories, listed alphabetically by the surname of the performer, followed by the film title.
Round Two voting, to determine the nominations, opens today at 18.00 GMT to BAFTA’s voting members and will close on Friday 12 January 2024.
The nominations for the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards will be announced on Thursday 18 January and the ceremony will take place on Sunday 18 February.

Der bildgewaltige Anime erzählt eine Abenteuer-Fantasy-Geschichte und beruht auf dem gleichnamigen Manga von Igarashi Daisuke, der auch das Drehbuch geschrieben hat. Für die Animation zeichnet das vielfach preisgekrönten Studio 4°C verantwortlich.
Die Mittelschülerin Ruka hat Probleme mit ihrem Umfeld, denn sie wurde aus dem Handballclub geworfen und ihre Mutter trinkt. So besucht sie in den Sommerferien das Aquarium, in dem ihr Vater arbeitet und lernt dort ein mysteriöses Brüderpaar namens Umi („Meer“) und Sora („Himmel“) kennen, das von Dugongs aufgezogen wurde und sich elegant im Wasser bewegen kann. Ruka und die Beiden kommen näher in Kontakt und schon bald ereignen sich überall in der Meereswelt geheimnisvolle Dinge, bei denen die Vorbereitungen für ein großes Event und der Einschlag eines Meteors eine Rolle spielen.
