Kinder wollen die Welt entdecken und sie mitgestalten. Doch wie und an welchen Punkten ist ein Mitwirken der jungen Zielgruppe tatsächlich möglich und zielführend? In einer perfekten Welt entspricht die Beteiligung von Kindern an Kultur nicht nur dem politischen Auftrag, sondern bietet auch das Potential für zielgruppengerechte Entwicklung von Projekten sowie deren Marktplatzierung. Welche Schritte müssen dafür unternommen werden? Darüber möchten wir mit Ihnen ins Gespräch kommen.
Die Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF hat „Seed-Grants“ für die Anbahnung von künstlerischen und wissenschaftlich-künstlerischen Forschungsprojekten ausgeschrieben, die aktuelle Herausforderungen der Gesellschaft adressieren, Zukunftsszenarien entwerfen oder Praktiken der Partizipation und Intervention erforschen. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass das Projekt Partizipation von Kindern an der Filmkultur eines dieser „Seed-Grants“ erhalten hat und wir Ihnen nun unseren Forschungsbericht vorstellen können:
Der Bericht widmet sich dem Forschungsstand des Rezeptionsverhaltens junger Zuschauer*innen zwischen sechs und 13 Jahren, beleuchtet Partizipationsmodelle und praktische Beispiele aus verschiedenen kulturellen Bereichen, macht auf Lücken in Forschung und Praxis aufmerksam und gibt Handlungsempfehlungen, wie die Partizipation von Kindern an der Filmkultur intensiviert werden kann.

- Berücksichtigung von Kindern im Alter von sechs bis neun Jahren in den Untersuchungen der FFA zu Kinomarkt und Kinonutzung.
- Berücksichtigung der Kinonutzung im Kontext der regelmäßig durchgeführten Studien zur Mediennutzung von Kindern wie KIM-Studie und Kinder Medien Monitor.
- Entwicklung eines Leitfadens „Co-Creation“ in der Filmbranche und für die Filmbildung an Schulen und Universitäten.
- Erstellung eines Mappings von Workshops mit Kindern und Jugendlichen, um bestehendes Wissen einfacher nutzbar zu machen.
- Initiierung eines Runden Tisches Praxis & Wissenschaft, an dem Institutionen, die partizipative Projekte im Filmbereich durchführen und Universitäten/Fachhochschulen, die diese wissenschaftlich begleiten und evaluieren können, zusammenkommen.
- Auflegen eines Förderprogramms für partizipative Ansätze in der Filmbranche. Als Vorbild könnte die Sondermaßnahme Publikumsfokus des Dänischen Filminstituts dienen.
HUI BUH UND DAS HEXENSCHLOSS Neuer Kinostart: 28. Juli 2022 im Verleih der Warner Bros. Pictures
Die nächsten Sommerferien werden magisch! Ursprünglich sollte Hui Buh bereits am 27. Januar über die Leinwände spuken, nun nimmt das Schlossgespenst Kurs auf den Sommer. Sechszehn Jahre nach dem großen Erfolg von „Hui Buh – Das Schlossgespenst“ (2006) mit mehr als zwei Millionen Kinobesuchern wird das beliebte Gespenst ab dem 28. Juli 2022 endlich ins Kino zurückkehren – mit Michael Bully Herbig als Hui Buh, Christoph Maria Herbst als König Julius 111. und Rick Kavanian als Charles!
Dazu Regisseur Sebastian Niemann: „Verhext noch mal! Leider müssen wir wegen der aktuellen Corona-Lage den Kinostart verschieben! Aber dafür wird jetzt die Vorfreude gesteigert und ab dem 28. Juli umso heftiger gespukt!“
Produzent Christian Becker fügt an: „Schweren Herzens verschieben wir, aber wir wollen natürlich, dass möglichst viele Menschen unser tolles, neues Hui Buh Abenteuer im Kino sehen können.“
Hauptdarsteller Michael Bully Herbig ergänzt: „Achtung Spuk-Spoiler! Das wird der gruseligste Kinosommer aller Zeiten!“
Zum Inhalt:
Noch immer lebt König Julius (Christoph Maria Herbst) zurückgezogen auf Schloß Burgeck zusammen mit Hui Buh (Michael Bully Herbig), dem einzig behördlich zugelassenen Gespenst. Mit seinen dilettantischen Gruselversuchen geht Hui Buh nicht nur Julius mächtig auf den Geist. Hui Buh leidet sehr darunter, als Gespenst eine Lachnummer zu sein. Und auch Julius macht eine harte Zeit durch, seit Konstanzia ihn verlassen hat. Plötzlich steht die kleine Hexe Ophelia (Nelly Hoffmann) vor der Tür und bittet Hui Buh um Hilfe: sie müssen die Welt vor dem Necronomicon zu beschützen, dem bösen und mächtigsten Zauberbuch aller Zeiten. Das ist die Gelegenheit für Hui Buh, endlich gruselig zu werden! Wenn da nicht noch ein anderes Problem wäre: Hui Buh fürchtet sich vor Hexen….
Zur großen Freude aller Fans konnten die Macher des erfolgreichen Originals, Produzent Christian Becker und Regisseur Sebastian Niemann, die beliebten Stars des ersten Teils wieder vor der Kamera vereinen: Michael Bully Herbig, Christoph Maria Herbst und Rick Kavanian! An ihrer Seite spielen die Neu-Entdeckung Nelly Hoffmann sowie Mina Tander, Charlotte Schwab, Carmen-Maja Antoni, Manou Lubowski, Leona Sklenickova und Roman Mrázik in der Fortsetzung des Family-Entertainment-Hits.
HUI BUH UND DAS HEXENSCHLOSS ist eine Produktion der Rat Pack Filmproduktion und von Warner Bros. Entertainment. Produzent ist Christian Becker. Das Drehbuch stammt von Sebastian Niemann und Dirk Ahner. Die Dreharbeiten fanden von Februar bis Juli 2020 (mit Pandemie-Unterbrechung) in Prag und München statt. Gefördert wurde das Projekt vom Deutschen Filmförderfonds (DFFF), von der Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg (MFG), vom FilmFernsehFonds Bayern (FFF), von der Filmförderungsanstalt (FFA) und dem Filmanreizprogramm des tschechischen Staatlichen Kinematographie Fonds. In this edition you can see: international professional guests talking about the languages of the audiovisual world and not only; the Hall of Fame award to Fusako Yusaki, with a dedicated retrospective; an interesting offer of movies and short films, as well as lots of content for children and families.

SIGGRAPH Asia 2021 Computer Animation Festival Honors the Best in Computer Graphics
Tokyo, Japan, 1 December 2021 – The SIGGRAPH Asia 2021 Computer Animation Festival (CAF), Asia’s premier computer-generated animation and visual effects event, will showcase a worldwide collection of the year’s best works. From student films to professional projects, the festival once again showcases and celebrated some of the industry’s newest, most compelling technology-based visual artistry.
The festival is pleased to announce four award-winning films, selected by judges from a total of 501 animation works. This was the first year the festival saw a tie in the ‘BEST STUDENT PROJECT’ category, resulting in four award winners for the CAF Winners Screening. The international jury of industry heavyweights also selected the top 16 works for the Electronic Theater screening, and another 19 for the Animation Theater screening.
“This year saw another fantastic selection of works from artists across Asia and around the world,” said Computer Animation Festival Chair, Dan Sarto. “Our winning CAF films, as well as each selection for the Electronic Theater and Animation Theater screenings, showcase the latest innovative works from an incredibly diverse and talented group of artists. Our jury helped assemble an extraordinary collection of animated projects, including 35 animated shorts, commercials, and other works, that conference attendees can watch both in Tokyo and online. Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who took time to share their work with us.”
