Pilsen: CEE Animation Forum 2026: Call for Submissions is Open

The CEE Animation Forum is the leading regional pitching, financing and co-production event. It aims to boost the projects´ international potential, visibility and their access to a wider European market.

A key part of the programme is the pitching competition. Submissions are open to European animated projects in 4 categories:

  • Feature Films – minimum length of 60 minutes; in concept or in development,
  • TV or Web Series and TV Specials – TV and web series of any format and single films, minimum length of 20 minutes; all stages of development except for concept stage,
  • Short Films – maximum length of 20 minutes; all stages of development (except for concept stage) or pre-production,
  • Student Short Films – maximum length of 20 minutes; all stages of development (except for concept stage) or pre-production.

CEEA Talks: Bara Anna Stejskalova about 9 MILLION COLOURS “Underwater overkill”
The underwater world is full of colours – some say as many as 9 million! – and movement. The ideal environment for an animation artist to unleash her creativity. During the Filem’On Festival in Brussels, Bara Anna explained how she brought this superhuman plan to fruition.

 

CEE Animation Workshop Presents the 2026 Selection

For  its eighth edition, the CEE Animation Workshop welcomed a new selection of projects and participants. Twelve projects and 31 participants from 18 countries have been carefully chosen from 55 applications submitted from 27 countries.
