In exactly 10 days we’re collectively embarking on an epic journey around the world to visit more than 40 artists, designers and illustrators, with a nice mix of on stage lectures recorded in Berlin and additional brand new PictoTalks and presentations, spiced with further panels, animation screenings and workshops — all nicely wrapped and delivered straight to your digital doorstep, on two channels over two jam-packed days. Look at the contributing artists, creators and theorists, all waiting to step onto the virtual stage of your private home entertainment system and share insight into their character creation and understanding, or give you a personal studio tour. |
But that’s not nearly all. Our second channel awaits you for 70 hand-picked animated shorts in four carefully curated programs. Daily panels on the current state of illustration and the animation industry provide food for thought, and live art-sessions allow you to get your hands dirty with different media — in the comfort of your own 4 walls.
Additionally, on Friday Wix Playground and Olena Subchuk invite 100 lucky participants to an exclusive workshop on how to take creative control during a live video session https://www.wix.com/designers/events/pictoplasma2021
And on Saturday Illustrator Carina Lindmeier draws live in Adobe Fresco while incorporating suggestions from the chat, answering questions about her creative process and explaining the basics of the software.
