An exploration of Animation’s evolution from the simple novelty of moving drawings 100+ years ago, to emotionally gripping animated acting performances today that rival the best of live action. Specific areas of focus will include the unique challenges and solutions presented by inherent differences in animation and traditional acting processes, as well as thoughts on updating the way we educate the next generation of animators to ensure even stronger performances in the future.
