The Annecy International Animation Film Market – from 12th Tuesday through 15th Friday June, 2018 – is expanding again (the floor will increase from 1,000 to 1,600 m²), now revealing the first of its innovations and gems!
Creative Europe MEDIA Umbrella Stand:
This year for the first time Mifa will host a Creative Europe MEDIA umbrella stand, to enhance and distribute some European audiovisual content. It will cover more than 100 m², emblematic of the European Commission’s determination to back the animated film industry.

Market Screenings: the top place for producers, distributors and sellers to present professionals with their latest productions.
Shoot the Book Anim’: pitch sessions on books, to promote screen adaptations of French literary works.
Demo Sessions: a special showcase where professionals can push their works and technological solutions.
Meet the Composers: B2B encounters streamlining contacts between film score composers and European/worldwide directors and producers.
Also: A video library exclusively online
In 2017, more than 8,000 videos were seen. These videos included projects, programmes uploaded by producers, and the official selection of the Festival. The video library is now virtual, with content available online for one year!
