Eurimages is the cultural support fund of the Council of Europe. Established in 1989, it numbers 38 of the 47 member states of the Strasbourg-based Organisation, plus Canada as Associate member.
Strasbourg, 01.07.2019 – At its 155th meeting held from 24 to 28 June 2019 in Geneva,the Board of Management of the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund agreed tosupport 17 fiction films, 2 documentaries and 4 animation projects for a total amount of €6,200,000
The share of eligible projects with female directors examined at this Eurimages Board of Management meeting was 28%; 26% of the projects supported were directed by women;€1 785,000 was awarded to these projects, representing 29% of the total amount awarded.
