Three-time VES Award nominee Kyle Odermatt will appear live on stage at VIEW Conference 2023, with a dazzling presentation about Disney’s upcoming animated feature “Wish.” Directed by Oscar-winner Chris Buck (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Fawn Veerasunthorn (“Raya and the Last Dragon”), “Wish” opens in theaters 22 November, 2023 and helps mark the culmination of Disney100, a year-long celebration honoring the legacy of animation legend Walt Disney.
“Wish” is an all-new musical-comedy that welcomes audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha (Ariana DeBose), a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force – a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe – the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico (Chris Pine) – to save her community and prove that, when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. The film also features the voice of Alan Tudyk as Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino.
“I am proud that VIEW Conference is hosting this Italian premiere event introducing Disney’s latest animated feature ‘Wish,’” says Conference Director Dr. Maria Elena Gutierrez. “I am doubly honored to welcome Kyle Odermatt on to our live stage. I know that he will wow our international audience with his electrifying presentation about the spectacular visuals of this magical new movie.”
