Neuigkeiten von den European Animation Awards.Am 8. Dezember gibt es in Lille, Frankreich eine erste Zeremonie in Sachen Animation. Man ist also auf einem guten Weg und die Sache scheint sich zu entwickeln.
Gut, das Ganze ist, wie auch die europäische Animationslandschaft, ein wenig französisch dominiert, die Preise heissen Emile, der Austragungsort ist in Lille, der Mehrzahl der Führungsriege ist französisch, – aber der President, Peter Lord ist Brite (wie lange wäre er denn dann eigentlich noch dabei?) und der Preis fürs Lebenswerk heisst „Lotte“ – die European Animation Awards haben sich vorgenommen, ein europäisches Familientreffen der Animation zu werden nach Vorbild der Annie Awards. Ob es klappen wird und ob sie wirklich 40 Länder in ihrer Preisverleihung vereinigen können, bleibt abzuwarten, dies politische Unterfangen wäre größer als die EU und würde in ähnliche Probleme hineinlaufen- schauen wir mal, wie es sich entwickelt. Auf jeden Fall wird es eine lange Preisverleihung.
Aber nun nehme ich das mal als Anstoß, nach dem Aufbau der Webseite und des INDAC Blogs, der langfristigen Verstetigung der INDAC Screenings und Events, sowie des Beginns des umfassenden Aufbaus der deutschen Animationlinks im Mitgliederbereich von INDAC.org, wo sich inzwischen immerhin über 500 Animationschaffende registriert haben, um auf Punkt 6 der INDAC Agenda noch einmal hinzuweisen, den es sich jetzt vielleicht lohnte anzugehen: Die Ausrichtung des Deutschen Animationsfilmpreises. Was meint Ihr?
