A year since violence escalated in Ukraine, over four million children are still refugees – separated from their friends, schools, and everything they know. People in the UK have stood in solidarity for children whose lives have been torn apart.
Now Aardman – the Academy Award-winning animation studio – is using its world-famous talents to support children who’ve been through so much. Home uses animated characters to tell a story about how child refugees feel and what it’s like to be away from home. It also celebrates the possibilities for children welcoming new refugee friends and learning about different cultures. Aardman and Save the Children hope this beautiful short film will inspire people to reach out to child refugees, welcome them, and help them feel something like ‘home’ again.
