HaZ’s presentation, „The Power of Automation and Machine Learning Tools in an Animated Feature Film Pipeline“ is part of our Real Time Narrative – The New Independent Scene session.
In his talk, HaZ will take us behind the scenes of a project which is currently in production – RIFT. He will talk about the journey leading to RIFT, a look into the Unreal Engine pipeline (also consisting of Reallusion and Xsens mocap pipeline) that the team developed in order to give HaZ as much hands on control as possible as a director on each shot + how the video game spin off is happening at the same time.
The session will start off with exclusive footage shown from the animated feature film RIFT currently in production and then move into how smart tools that utilize machine learning has helped this indie project accelerate production faster than conventional animation and CG pipelines.
