Ars Electronica: Prix Ars Electronica 2025 | Press Conference: The Winners of the Golden Nica 2025

The Prix Ars Electronica is the world’s longest-running media art competition. With the award-winning works of international artists as a trend barometer, it offers an inspiring, current and forward-looking insight into the interface between art, technology and society. The winners can look forward to the coveted Golden Nicas, up to 10,000 euros per category and a prominent appearance at the renowned Ars Electronica Festival in Linz.

This year, the Prix Ars Electronica once again honors outstanding projects at the intersection of art, technology, and society. Among the submissions in 2025, the Ars Electronica Award for Digital Humanity and the Isao Tomita Special Prize will also be presented.

The winners of the prestigious Golden Nicas and other awards were announced by Veronika Liebl (Managing Director Ars Electronica Festival) and Gerfried Stocker (Artistic Director Ars Electronica) on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 9 a.m. (CEST)
