In last year’s edition of CINANIMA, we had the opportunity to interview Cheng-Hsu Chung, a Taiwanese animation director and visual artist currently working and living in Berlin, Germany. Chung’s artistic practice focuses on using surreal images and character performances in animation to articulate the changing nature of emotion, modern love relationships and the experiences queer bodies encounter in today’s queer culture.
