This year’s animago CONFERENCE on 7th and 8th September promises to deliver a vibrant and jam-packed programme of speakers and presentations. There will be lectures addressing all different software and pipeline preferences.
The programme is packed with making of talks, like the DC blockbuster film “Wonder Woman”, (Jan Fiedler, Pixomondo), the oscar awarded short film „Piper“ (Erik Smitt, Pixar Animation Studios), „Atomic Blonde“ (Sebastian Leutner, Radoslaw Jamrog, Chimney), Marvel’s space fun „Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2“ (Christian Deiß, Scanline) and „Pirates of the Caribbean 5“ (Igor Jovanovic, MPC Film).
Lectures in which the artists show many Cinema 4D tricks will include Matthias Zabiegly’s (Aixsponza) talk „Perfectly Pretty – finding the sweetspot between tech and design“ and Robert Hranitzky‘s „TOCA ME – Opening Titles“. Florian Eisner’s lecture to the Commercial “Challenge yourself” contains useful tips for the Avid Media Composer. In addition, we have prepared numerous interesting talks on Autodesk and Blackmagic software, Esris CityEngine and ChaosGroups V-Ray Render engine.
Further highlights of the programme are Matthias Menz’s (Weta Digital) lecture “The Art of Digital Lighting”, in which he reveals the secret of the success in the Weta Digital rendering pipeline as well as “Simon’s Cat in an immersive 360 ° video” where Liza Nechaeva shows how a 360 ° clip of the popular animation cartoons figure emerges.
